Celebrities including Dame Joanna Lumley, Dame Dame Jane Goodall, Kate Humble, Ben Fogle, Steve Backshall, Mark Carwardine, Simon Reeve, Charlotte Uhlenbroek and Deborah Meaden have joined forces with World Animal Protection to co-sign a letter, fighting the closure of the National Wildlife Crime Unit.
The letter has been sent to DEFRA and the Home Office urging ministers to renew funding for this vital police unit.
